Scarlett Johansson is an American singer and actress who was born in the city of New York New York on November 22, 1984. Her acting has earned the attention of a broad range of genres including the genres of period dramas as well as action and thrillers. Johansson is the daughter of a renowned architect, as well as a producer, was raised as a child in New York City. Her twin brother Hunter and she were her youngest siblings. Renee Felice Smith's journey in entertainment began at a very young age. While she was still a young child Smith began to take an interest in the field of acting. Smith was offered her first gig as an actor at 6 years old, thanks to her parents. She was a part of a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Like many young actresses she began her career in theatre. She would work in different USA productions, while also performing on stage in the company of Wildflower.
