Scarlett and Renee

Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and singer whose acting versatility earned her praise in a variety of genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson lived within New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also a production company. Hunter, her twin sister, was also born in the City of New York. At a very young age she discovered a love for acting. She began performing in commercials by the age seven. After that, she was enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and then went to the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further refine her skills. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then had her first appearance in a film with North (1994) and was produced by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson appeared next on screen in Just Cause (1996), however it was Manny & Lo 1996 that was her breakthrough. The film is about two young girls that have fled to escape. The film, The Horse Whisperer, Johansson played a teenage victim of an incredibly tragic accident. In Ghost World, her role Ghost World brought her more notoriety as the infamous teenager Rebecca. She gained fame for her character of Nell Jones on the CBS hit series NCIS Los Angeles. The actress who won an award has been among the principal actors on the series. She has experience as a stage actress in addition to appearing in the show. Her performances have been spectacular in plays like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith entered the arena of entertainment at the age when she was very young. While she was still a young child Smith was interested in acting. Smith got her first of many acting roles when she was just six. She starred in a TV commercial for Dannon yogurt. As with many actresses who started out, she decided to perfect her craft in the world of theater. While she made her on-stage debut with Wildflower she would also work on different projects across USA. Her education was in Stonestreet Studios, the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
