Molly is a native of Pennsylvania. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania, began performing professionally in Philadelphia at the Prince Music Theater at 13 years old. Her first performance was The Snow Queen. As part of the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods, she won an award called the Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. The actress reprised the role in her Broadway debut at age 15 with Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002 and was nominated for the Drama League Award. Molly has also been seen in Broadway to perform in the production in Fiddler on the Roof. She attended Princeton University as a Triangle Club member and graduated with a B.A. Then she attended Princeton University, where she was a part of the Triangle Club and earned a Bachelor's degree in 2008. In that time she debuted as Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Following graduation, Molly was in Off-Broadway productions of several shows, such as End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and in some productions on television, such as Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has been in several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, at Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as Westport Country Players' show The Diary of Anne Frank. She was Anne. Molly is well-known as the character Ali, a teenage daughter, in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt directed and wrote the ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
